Objective of Anti-Ragging Committee
The primary objective of the Anti-Ragging Committee is to eliminate ragging in all forms and create a safe, secure, and student-friendly environment conducive to learning and personal development.
Functions of the Anti-Ragging Committee

Prevent Ragging
- Formulate and implement measures to prevent ragging in the institution and hostels.

Create Awareness
- Conduct awareness programs, orientation sessions, seminars, and campaigns on the ill effects and legal consequences of ragging.

Monitor Campus Activities
- Maintain constant vigilance in classrooms, laboratories, hostels, canteens, playgrounds, buses, and other vulnerable areas.

Receive Complaints
- Receive and register complaints related to ragging from students, parents, staff, or any other stakeholders.

Investigate Incidents
- Conduct prompt inquiries into reported incidents of ragging and collect evidence from all concerned parties.

Recommend Disciplinary Action
- Recommend appropriate disciplinary measures against students found guilty of ragging as per government and institutional rules.

Ensure Student Safety
- Protect victims and witnesses from intimidation, harassment, or retaliation.

Coordinate with Authorities
- Liaise with college administration, hostel authorities, police, and district administration whenever necessary.

Maintain Records
- Keep proper records of complaints, inquiries, actions taken, and preventive measures implemented.

Display Anti-Ragging Information
- Ensure anti-ragging notices, helpline numbers, and regulations are prominently displayed on campus and on the college website.

Counsel Students
- Arrange counseling and mentoring programs to promote healthy interaction between senior and junior students.
